On Wednesday, the price of the 2023 model was announced, and the price of the new base trim has only increased by a small amount.
The dreaded destination fees of $1,295 are included in the price of the 2023 Kia EV6 hatchback, which is an increase of $1,000 over the previous model year.A Wind grade with rear-wheel drive, 225 horsepower, and an EPA-estimated 310-mile range are available for that not-insignificant cost.Since the Light RWD model will be discontinued in 2023, this is now the base trim.As a result, the new entry-level EV6 has a good, if not great, performance and a lot of attractive features, like power outlets inside and outside, a premium sound system, an electrically operated liftgate, and even ventilated front seats.

The highly anticipated high-performance model, the Kia EV6 GT, sits at the end of the model lineup.When you consider the performance this all-electric hatchback offers, the starting price for this trim, which includes delivery, is $62,695.The GT model has a powerful 576 horsepower and 545 pound-feet of torque thanks to a dual-motor powertrain.With just 3.4 seconds to go from 0 to 60, all that sugar and spice is good.This model should be able to travel just 206 miles between charges, which is not a very impressive number.
Naturally, the GT trim is the model with a focus on speed. It also has upgraded brakes, 21-inch wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires that grip well, and an electronically controlled suspension system.In addition, you get lightweight sport seats and unique interior trim, as well as a limited-slip rear differential for improved handling.
